Flu vaccines for the 2025-2026 season are in!

Flu season is approaching, and we’re happy to share that flu vaccines are now available in our office! Getting the flu shot is the best way to protect your child and family from serious illness.

It takes about two weeks after vaccination for the body to build full protection, so we recommend scheduling your child’s flu shot as soon as possible. The flu vaccine’s main goal is not only to help prevent infection but also to reduce the severity of illness—making it much less likely for children to experience complications that could lead to hospitalization or, in severe cases, death.

Last flu season was especially tough, but we noticed an important difference: children who received their flu shots here often had milder symptoms and recovered faster, even if they did catch the flu.
